(open) infodump meeting
WHO: jumpy
coolerjunpei and OPEN
WHAT: The sequel to the prior secrets/infosharing meeting. Also, separately: Art Club.
WHERE: A conference room in an office building. Art Club is in a random apartment near City Hall.
WHEN: Sept. 14-15
WARNINGS: kromer probably. tba on the rest
INFO MEETING
[In Setsuna's absence but wanting to continue the usefulness of the info-sharing Secret Meetings, Junpei has taken it upon himself to spread the word about the newest physical meeting place. As before, nondescript handwritten flyers are posted around the most heavily trafficked areas of the city (with a scattering more in apartment buildings and less-popular areas), all reading roughly the same thing:
Infosharing time again. Under new management?
Come as you are, buzzkills only allowed if they bring snacks. 2nd floor conference room in the office building across from the bank.
junpei
It was cool when Setsuna could leave his mysterious network username but unfortunately Junpei is still living with his fool-ass choices... Regardless. It's dated for the afternoon of the 14th, and on the day of, Junpei has brought paper and writing supplies and a clipboard and a cardboard box for fun later to the conference room.
He's holding the clipboard because it makes him feel important, and occasionally flipping pages to squint at it while people wander in. Eventually:]
Uh, hey—Junpei here. If you were here last time, you know what this is about already, buuut if you weren't: we're planning, more or less. All of our information is spread around, so... this is an effort to get it all in as many heads as possible, when more of us inevitably disappear without a trace overnight.
[Ahem. Okay,] Last time we were also planning some projects, and Setsuna was going to help me make a drone to explore the parts of the city we can't physically get to, but he's gone, so... I'm taking applications for Drone Team?
[..........,]
That's all I've got. Let's mingle and do some info-magic.
(OOC PORTION: hello, please treat this as a FREE MINGLE and post TLs to your heart's content. Infosharing is the main goal but if you want to recruit ICly for a Project, feel free!! There are also SNACKS ABOUND. enjoy.)

art club in a separate building on a different day
[Art Club is similarly advertised like the info meeting: handmade flyers around town, Junpei's version and Don's version. The date is set for the day after the other meeting, September 15, in an apartment... that isn't Junpei's, but is like, a few doors down the hall and otherwise unoccupied. (because his place is messy...)
A bigger flyer, poster-size, is stuck on the apartment's door to welcome Art Clubbers.
Inside, Art Club features a plethora of art supplies of varying levels of Fanciness and Complexity, and the promised snacks and beer. And some off-brand Sprite, if you're not into cheap beer. It's a very chill and relaxed hangout-slash-semi-party, primarily for Hanging Out and with less emphasis on the looming horror of how little they really know about this place.
So that's going well!
THIS IS ALSO A MINGLE... mingle within a mingle. Feel free to TL under this if you want to Do Art. Junpei is basic so he's only collected supplies in the realm of markers, nice paper, and some acrylic paints.]

Specifically, he is perceiving her drawing little guys, all of which are quite charming in their own right. The nice thing about art is that there's no barrier, no level of good or use of particular tools to qualify someone as an artist. All that matters is self-expression and the boundless creativity of the human mind.
Unlike Angela, he looks entirely at ease in the makeshift art club room, a sketchbook tucked underneath one arm. ]

junpei's half-baked attempt at non-leadership
One of them reads DRONE TEAM and the other reads KIOSK BOX, the latter placed in front of that cardboard box from earlier. He's cut a slot in the lid like a good ol' suggestion box.]
DRONE TEAM
[Catch him writing down supplies as best he can manage based on what he remembers Setsuna told him to get now that those texts are gone!!! Agh!! He's got Plastics... Metal... Springs????? (with this many question marks)
It's an ordeal.]
You into machines? I could really use about fifty techies right about now...
KIOSK BOX
[This one is for his side hustle as Kromer's PR person... the kiosk database they've been keeping track of is 90% her brainchild, with 10% left over for Junpei to talk to people because she doesn't like to. Whew. Mostly, he's just sitting by the box, but he'll explain that it's for contributing kiosk questions that have been answered, whether or not that answer is particularly helpful. It's helpful to know what isn't helpful, right? Surely.]
Step right up, folks. Share the kiosk's latest and greatest crummy non-answers right here.

Uh, barely... I think. I remember grabbing plastic and metal for Setsuna to mess with the first time, but all of that's gone now, so I dunno what else he collected to build with. Or what he was trying to make it look like, so I took a guess on that.

I worked with a few people that built various contraptions.
[ In fact, he remembers flying one of Tesla's drones back when he was a child. Also he could, at one point, make recreations of every existing machine on the human planet but those days are long gone now. Still, the knowledge itself is probably there somewhere, tucked away in the back of his brain. ]
Are you looking to build one yourself?

DON QUIXOTE'S GRAND SEMINAR
but everyone is so tall and she is still growing. ahem. she's standing on a chair. ]
For those who are new! Allow me to introduce myself -- I am Don Quixote, a Fixer of the Limbus Company! None of that means much to anyone, but an introduction is an introduction -- nevertheless, I shall catch thee up promptly... and speak on something new of mine own.
[ yeah guess what. she's got WORDS TO SAY. please hold for organization purposes. ]
FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: NOOOOOOO KILLING
[ ... ahem!!!! ]
It seem a dour start to information one ought to know, but it is important nonetheless. Death is impermanent here. If ill-fate befalls one, they shall find themselves without memory of the incident, as well as what and who they died from, but still alive and well come the morning of the next day! Arriving just as they had before, upon the train, yet without any questions to answer. It is thought that one loses a memory important to them as well, but I personally cannot attest to that, for I have not an idea of what I may have forgotten myself.
[ still can't think of it. she'll figure it out one day. hopefully it's nothing too important! ]
For the one who struck the other down, their consequences are of a more visible kind! This I have not experienced at all, but I am all together certain of its validity due to the one who I had asked to kill me for the purpose of such findings; Young Wufei has left us, as has many others whom I had met then, but I shan't forget his kindness when indulging me. [ ur a real one wufei ] Um... To put it simply, they cannot speak about the incident whatsoever -- rather, it is too difficult to manage. They cannot see the faces of others, having to rely on another way to recognize those around them, and have difficulty putting thoughts together. All of this happens moments after the incident has occurred, I have heard, and it lasts a week.
[ she pauses for a sip of water like all of this isn't the least bit alarming or unusual and continues. ]
Lastly, even those who bore witness to the event, I am sad to say, face repercussion as well -- I am sorry to those who experienced it on my behalf, for I am certain it was a terrible time indeed. Each time they attempt to sleep, be it nap or otherwise, they recall vividly the death that they witnessed as if it were their own. This also, I learned, lasts a week.
Therefore! If thee seek to harm another, ensure it is not fatal! However, know that if it is unjustified, I shall bring justice down upon thee!
[ ... ]
SECONDLY: THE PAST TWO... HAUNTINGS
The past two months have been something of an interesting ordeal for us who inhabit this place. The commonality, as far as I am able to see, is that it deals with the pasts that we have left behind -- items of worth, be it sentimental or not, appearing in the bank which houses nothing but memories as an example. Ehm, I have not opened mine yet, for I have been warned against it and also I am not interested in that which lies behind me, but I have been told that one experiences memories connected to that object. I shall allow another to have the floor if they wish to share their experience with that.
Only last month were we beset by those we had left behind, or perhaps the memory of them in some cases, in the shopping mall of the same District. When touching, or being touched, by them, they would... inflict a most painful death upon thee, be it one pulled from the past or simply a possibility. However, it did not effect one the way a death normally -- normally for here, mind -- would, though I cannot say it was easy for many involved. These figments roamed ceaselessly, and whilst they could be spoken to they held naught worth mentioning.
[ whew. okay. whew. ]
Fret not, however, for both are safe as can be now! I would still exercise caution in each, and advise thee to bring a friend along.

FINAL: THE NEWEST STUFF
[ ... well, to most here. don's told a very sparse amount of people. aka like, two know. shout out. ]
Closer to a week hence, I found myself upon the train as if I had died and returned. However, my familiarity with the sensation left me somewhat befuddled -- for I had not lost any memories that I could think of, but had gained them instead.
For that single night, I found myself home in the City -- my City -- alongside the companions whom I had missed somewhat, and including the two whom are here now. Many things happened in that span of time, and I know for a fact that it is different than what my roommate, who arrived the same day as I prior, recalls. In addition, I found myself in the very moment I remembered just before finding myself here in the first place, for those who are worried about being missed back home.
I am not certain what to make of it, for assuredly I had not disappeared completely; if that had been the case, then all of my existence would have been wiped as it has for those who have found their ways home. I simply thought it important to share.
[ okay. okay. that's all. she'll take a seat on the table instead she's done with her. her many talks. ]

Some sort of print shop. I hadn't realized how tiring it was to handwrite everything. ( Human bodies are so inconvie ) I don't know what the particular terminology would be, but a "place where one can quickly and efficiently print books and other media" sounds fine.
