WHERE: Around the City! Outside your apartment, in your face-- But also a portion of it at the Welcome Diner
WHEN: From early October to before the City event on the 19th!

There's a pair on a mission--and hopefully, a pair capable of wrangling some of their friends to join in on sharing out some fliers they've made for an experiment. But as it is, you may meet this pair when they knock at the door of where you're staying, or while you're out on the streets! Each with a friendly face, from the boy's calm nod and "Hey--you got a minute?" or the girl's [description here].
Or you've escaped meeting them in person, but found their flier slipped under the door of where you're staying. And on it reads...
PLEASE READ! A group of us want to hold an experiment on how the city will react if we don't go to a new location immediately or any event it runs. The newsletter they gave out mentioned a Halloween party, and the report in the office also mentioned a test running from the 19th to 31st of October.
What happens if we run our own party in this timeframe? What happens if we don't take part in their experiments? We should test how they react.
Don't talk about this on the network. Come to the Welcome Diner if you want to find out more. We want to hold a meeting with everyone about this plan on the 14th at the diner.
Let's see how willing they are to act.
If you come to the Welcome Diner, Robby Keene and Tsuruno Yui can be found, especially during the first week and a half of the month; others, too, with the activity taking place there. But the pair are usually behind the counter, or Robby.

First month, someone'll have to tell me if more happened, but it was just a party out in the park. Nothing funny 'til the next month when more parts of the city became available. That happens--you try going to too far down some streets, you'll get turned back.
[ Because hey, he never tried it as a new person. ]
Anyway, there was the bank. It opened up, and in them were items belonging to us--keys too with our names on them. Some of 'em had your own item in them, or someone else's. But if you got your item when you were in the bank, the doors close. And every item made you want to talk about whatever story it had going on.
[ He pauses, but he'll admit with a wave of his hand (he's not really keeping his fingers up for each of those points permanently...): ] I got juvie papers.
[ Anyway. ] After that, we've had places like the ice cream parlour where the different flavours change your mood or make you talk about yourself, and the pools at the university had something going on, too. The biggest event that happened was when the mall opened up, and there--everything was crazy. The doors couldn't be opened from the inside and people couldn't get calls in or out, they'd cut out.
[ There's been a slow shift of his expressions, already neutral, but uncomfortable as he finds himself in the actual details. But, taking in a breath: ] Inside, people got chased by-- things that looked like people. But it wasn't, and if you caught up to them or got caught by them, you'd see someone die. Them or you.
[ He folds his other arm now with the other. ]
They turned out to be mannequins after. And the month after that, [ he continues with a beat, ] last month, a fun fair was in the park where the big park over in the other district is. [ A wave of a hand in a direction. Thatta way. ]
It didn't have anything going on, last I heard.

[ Interesting. So if last month was a fair with little to do, and the pattern's been the way it has been... Argalia hums thoughtfully, resting his chin in a hand. ]
Introductions, share one fact about yourself, get to know one another over a meal, overcome adversity together, and lastly, have a fun time at the fair... While this month, there's that quaint little tea party and its remarkable gardens on top of their apparent get-together later on, the former of which inflicts various conditions through their drinks and speaks your mind for you.
It sounds like they're playing matchmaker to me.
[ That's a joke, by the way. ]
Let's say they're connected, or patterned somehow. Would this party be a test of the bonds you've made thus far, do you think? It really puts new arrivals like myself at a disadvantage~. Good thing I'm not going.

Could be, but nothing's pushed us together with the same people we've been before. Even someone as new as yourself can still get in on the fun.
[ That's a joke, too. ]
We have a guess about what'll happen next, but it's only a guess. They gave us a question through the phones asking if we like working with teams or alone, and a study conducted in October in a university office talked about two different teams. It could be nothing -- but it doesn't make a difference what it is.
We can't do anything 'cept go or not go.
