But as someone who's been here for a while now, I'm pretty sure there's nothing worth investigating inside. We ain't gonna find anything significant in there that we haven't found so far, which is pretty scant if I'm being honest.

Don Quixote, Fearne ( that girl she didn't stop mentioning the other week or whatever during the cute convo ) and... Midnight. Before you ask, no, nothing happened. All separate instances as well.

Well, at least I know who Don and Midnight are. Fearne... I'll keep an eye out for her since you swam with her and all.

And what did you guys find in there?

Nothing in particular. She was stealing items and dropped some soap into the pool, and when I told her I didn't know how to swim so I couldn't help her retrieve it, she offered to teach me. ( sigh. ) The only things I learned were that she's perceptive, thinks I'm attractive, and that it feels strange to be naked in the water when it isn't a bath.

[ oh wow, that woman is down bad. and for angela? no one's ever tried to rizz angela up at the library before either, so she might've been more than a little overwhelmed by the unfamiliar attention. ]

Well, Don's like that to virtually anyone, and Midnight... is also like that. To virtually anyone.

Just don't sweat it. If they hang out with you a lot, that means they already like you a whole bunch. Nothing else matters.

I'm just more surprised neither of them apparently mind my personality. ( not the easiest girl to get to know, after all... not the friendliest... how long had it taken roland to get close to her?



well, circumstances were different there. she feels a little off-balance sometimes. it really is better just to be with him, then. she pauses just long enough to take his arm as they reach the tunnel, finding comfort in it. ) Though, Don Quixote said she has coworkers like me. I suppose Midnight might, too.
