[ A. uno apartment (shortly after arrival) ]
[ As far as Tsuruno's concerned, finding roommates can be a problem for another day. She probably should not conk out in a station or a convenience store or a park bench, because she can just imagine all the scolding from back home she'd get from it.
That being said, the few apartments she's checked appear to be lived-in. Or at least were lived-in? There's no real sign of a disturbance, no signs of life, but if you catch her peeking from the doorway of another apartment, door half-held open, she's definitely fidgeting uncomfortably. ]
This feels weird... Is this really okay?
[ Granted, maybe one of you is already staying here actually, or it is an apartment that's up for grabs, she's not looking convinced either way. ]
[ B. uno park ]
[ It's one of the many small parks around here that Tsuruno has decided is a good place to keep in shape. Which you might take to mean that you'll see this ponytailed teenager running around the path of the park with a fair amount of ease, and you're not wrong, a lot of the time, she's running on the path as God intended.
However sometimes you're minding your own business and suddenly there's someone coming flying out of (or over) a bush, eyes widening as she realizes you're probably not a hurdle she can vault. She will try to swerve to avoid a collision, of course, but whether she succeeds or not is up to chance. Or you. Actually.
Or just call out to her when she's running like a normal person, she looks like she'd be willing to stop and talk or welcome a running buddy. ]
[ C. uno everywhere ]
[ Maybe you've been spared the presence of Tsuruno up til now. Or you saw her from a distance, thought "oh my god that looks like Too Much Energy, I value myself and my sanity" and opted to stay away.
Well! Too damn bad! Because she's made eye contact and is now heading your way, eyes bright, smile hopeful, ready to socialize with you whether you want this or not. But what she asks you depends! Because it's either going to be-- ]
Just wondering, but do you know how to fight?
[ With all the air of one who is absolutely not looking to pick a fight. Or-- ]
Could I ask you something about yourself real quick? I don't think it'll be too invasive maybe? Probably!
[ Pick your poison! ]
[ D. uno graveyard ]
[ It's closer to dusk when you go to the graveyard for whatever reason you can imagine. We're not here to judge you. And besides, there's someone already here, sitting with her back facing a headstone, staring down at a silver ring that she's somewhat pensively twisting on the finger of her left hand. As opposed to all other cheery instances you've probably seen her in, she looks a little solemn, but this is probably because she hasn't seen you yet.
Until she does, suddenly, jerking to attention but also rearing backwards a little too far back and clocking her head against the stone of whoever's grave this is with a yelp of pain.
This sure is dignified. Watch her as she rolls about clutching her head if you want to, or you can ask her what she's doing there, or you can do whatever you want to! Live your dreams! ]

what is this cr
"Probably" okay. I don't want to hear any complaints if you walk away with a few bruises, then.
[The stones hover. Ominously? No, just normally, right there in front of him.]
Chaos
Sir! No complaints from me! It'll just be like getting hit by way harder baseballs if I don't dodge fast enough!
she deserves so much better
Then look alive.
[He doesn't have to gesture to send two of the stones flying out, one after the other. One up high, one down low, spinning with sudden telekinetic velocity. At least he can still fling things around with fervor.]
she's from a madoka canon tho
Well, there's a first time for everything. ]
I THINK MY POINT STILL STANDS
But it's fine. Not yet. She's doing him a favor in this way, testing where that line is drawn, and he still has another stone to toss her way.]
You're faster than I expected.
[The third stone goes wheeling at her, fast and hard, and in a straight line. He suspects she'll dodge it in the same way... and it'll just come boomeranging straight back around after she probably does. Telekinesis, everybody!]
EHHHHHH
[ As expected (or suspected), she's able to move out of the trajectory of a straight line. But she isn't as lucky when it comes back from the other direction, only barely seeming to catch on in the nick of time that it's coming back for Revenge (lucky, maybe) and twisting herself to try to avoid it.
She avoids a direct impact to the back, but it still smacks into her shoulder, prompting a yip of pain. Okay. Ow. ]

Always watch your back.
[But he'll give her a moment to reset. He wonders if he should pick up a few more stones while they're at it...]
So where'd all this agility come from? Most would've been pelted.
[Especially from him. His powers might be weaker than usual, but they're still not fun to deal with.]
no subject
[ None of this is a lie. She also says it while gingerly rubbing her shoulder. ]
So I guess I got good at dodging?
no subject
(He already feels the twinge of his headache coming through.)]
...in the lab, I was trained for more than just using these abilities defensively. [Unlike what he mentioned prior.] I don't know if that says more about me or you that you're dodging them because of your participation in a... tournament.
no subject
Well, like you said, things were dampened, right? I don't think they bothered doing anything with physical abilities, but it sort of looks like you're feeling less great now, so I think it says more about this place than either of us!
no subject
You can tell already? [That he has a headache starting to blossom behind his eyes?] Then let's give it one more go, and see how I do then.
[Or how Tsuruno does, that's fine, too.]
Ready?
no subject
... Or try to?
[ Little shit. ]
no subject
Henry's pride is so very rarely bruised by passing comments like that, but there's still something about it that makes him want to toss these stones as hard and as fast as he can.]
I'll try. [little shit!!
And so they go flying, a pair at a time, wheeling straight towards her. Angling wide before homing straight in at different angles, despite the strain he can feel against his own mind. Like his sinuses want to burst behind his eyes.]

But there are more rocks than there are Tsurunos, and she does get whacked in the leg, a second one hitting her arm the instant she yelps and slows down.
Good job, Henry! ]

Which isn't as bad as the headache which blooms uncomfortable white behind his eyes, pulsing and disorienting, as though this simple was nigh unfathomable for his body. What a lark. How irritating.
He'll be more irritated, though, when he's not swaying on his feet, looking like he's about to faint. Held up only by purely stubborn willpower alone for now.
AT LEAST HE HIT HER]
