[ A. uno apartment (shortly after arrival) ]

[ As far as Tsuruno's concerned, finding roommates can be a problem for another day. She probably should not conk out in a station or a convenience store or a park bench, because she can just imagine all the scolding from back home she'd get from it.

That being said, the few apartments she's checked appear to be lived-in. Or at least were lived-in? There's no real sign of a disturbance, no signs of life, but if you catch her peeking from the doorway of another apartment, door half-held open, she's definitely fidgeting uncomfortably. ]

This feels weird... Is this really okay?

[ Granted, maybe one of you is already staying here actually, or it is an apartment that's up for grabs, she's not looking convinced either way. ]

[ B. uno park ]

[ It's one of the many small parks around here that Tsuruno has decided is a good place to keep in shape. Which you might take to mean that you'll see this ponytailed teenager running around the path of the park with a fair amount of ease, and you're not wrong, a lot of the time, she's running on the path as God intended.

However sometimes you're minding your own business and suddenly there's someone coming flying out of (or over) a bush, eyes widening as she realizes you're probably not a hurdle she can vault. She will try to swerve to avoid a collision, of course, but whether she succeeds or not is up to chance. Or you. Actually.

Or just call out to her when she's running like a normal person, she looks like she'd be willing to stop and talk or welcome a running buddy. ]

[ C. uno everywhere ]

[ Maybe you've been spared the presence of Tsuruno up til now. Or you saw her from a distance, thought "oh my god that looks like Too Much Energy, I value myself and my sanity" and opted to stay away.

Well! Too damn bad! Because she's made eye contact and is now heading your way, eyes bright, smile hopeful, ready to socialize with you whether you want this or not. But what she asks you depends! Because it's either going to be-- ]

Just wondering, but do you know how to fight?

[ With all the air of one who is absolutely not looking to pick a fight. Or-- ]

Could I ask you something about yourself real quick? I don't think it'll be too invasive maybe? Probably!

[ D. uno graveyard ]

[ It's closer to dusk when you go to the graveyard for whatever reason you can imagine. We're not here to judge you. And besides, there's someone already here, sitting with her back facing a headstone, staring down at a silver ring that she's somewhat pensively twisting on the finger of her left hand. As opposed to all other cheery instances you've probably seen her in, she looks a little solemn, but this is probably because she hasn't seen you yet.

Until she does, suddenly, jerking to attention but also rearing backwards a little too far back and clocking her head against the stone of whoever's grave this is with a yelp of pain.

This sure is dignified. Watch her as she rolls about clutching her head if you want to, or you can ask her what she's doing there, or you can do whatever you want to! Live your dreams! ]

[ At least the girl, in spite of her cheery personality, isn't being totally annoying - She imagines if she let her get any closer the annoying part would become a thing. ]

Arriving at different times would be the obvious answer. From different times too. You might not recognize them.

[ Because that is a reality she's experienced and experiencing - something to sort out later. The second question earns a shrug as she adds: ]

[ This is muttered mostly to herself, though it's audible. This does not look like a girl who can be terribly sneaky, if she even wanted to be. ]

But--different times? Wait, you mean like from the past or future?

[ Hello??? ]

[ She could ask what event-related means, but it sounds like the girl is trying to assess things by whatever her world's standards are versus... the situation here. Maybe later, if it comes up again. ]

Whatever is happening here is a multiversal problem. Time travel isn't outside of the realm of possibility.

I didn't think time travel was real...

[ She's learning so much?? ]

Then again, I didn't think I could be kidnapped to a completely different place, so I guess the sky's actually the limit?

[ Nebula's response remains that of even coolness, not missing a beat. Not particularly impressed by the young girl's response but then... Time Travel wasn't real until a few years ago for her does she really have room to judge? ]

[ Appparently, sorry Tsuruno, since she just snorts. ]

Sure, if you want to limit yourself to the sky.

I mean, I'd like to go to space one day for sure. [ earnestly. Teenage girls like her usually don't have the money or the means to go up into space just yet, and she's not the Sailor Moon brand of Magical Girl, which is truly tragic. ]

But that's really cool! That means you've time traveled before, right? Was it a machine? Is it an ability? A portal?

[ Well. You've got her hype now, Nebula. ]

[ She makes the executive (possibly correct) decision to not say she goes to space on the regular... But then, she is a tall, blue-and-purple space cyborg so it's not a stretch to think she might. Still, better not to with an already excitable girl in front of her and her not knowing what to do with that. ]

[ Simply. For a moment, that seems like all she's going to say. ]

It was a portal and it was destroyed in battle.

[ She is absolutely right because Tsuruno would want to hear All About It and no one needs a ponytailed teenager hanging eagerly on their every word while being full of questions. Or at least, no one who isn't used to it. ]

Ohhhh. [ It's both understanding and intrigue and also a little bit of disappointment, with a layer of understanding. Well, it makes sense, doesn't it? ]

I guess that's for the best... there's always stuff they say about not messing with the past too much because it'll throw off the present.

[ She barely knows how to handle a bunch of children hanging off of her trying to get her to play, but this is probably a little better than that. At least Tsuruno isn't bursting into tears and they can communicate. ]

[ Still, while she could further correct her - some time travel nonsense of alternate timelines being created by virtue of the travel or whatever... Back to the Future being total bullshit, she doesn't. ]

Right. [ Off-handedly, like she's agreeing as much as she's dismissing: ] Did you have any other questions?

[ Wow, maybe Nebula is actually surprisingly good with children and just hasn't awoken her inner love for them yet, surely this teenager will be able to help her.

Probably not today, but. You know. Long-term goals are fine too. ]

Mm, I have a lot! But we can do three at a time for each meeting, so you have something to look forward to.

[ AS THOUGH NEBULA LOOKS THRILLED ABOUT THIS ]

[ Correct: She is not thrilled about the prospect of meeting the girl again??? It's more like she's taken aback, scowling at the thought. Like why would you put yourself through that Tsuruno? And then finally, reminds: ]

You've already gone beyond a three question limit today.

Yeah, you're right.

[ And her shoulders slump a little, but she appears to have accepted this wholly. She should honor that and she will! ]
