WHO: Anyone and everyone!
WHAT: Christmas Party! While originally an excuse for Secret Santas to give or drop off their gifts beneath the tree, anyone can swing by for a little holiday cheer.
WHERE: City Hall
WHEN: December 25th, starting at 10am and ending around 8pm
WARNINGS: N/A, but let me know if anything comes up!
( Zelda's attention is immediately torn from her thoughts to Don when she speaks, looking to the gift she's offering to her. Though, she hesitates to take it, looking to Don with a curious gaze. )
You are generous to offer gifts to those who do not have any yet to give to others. Are you certain you wish to give them for practically nothing?
The smiles I shall receive for giving them, as well as seeing them about the wrists and whatnot of others, is payment enough. Even if there were a value to currency here, I would do so for free.
[ it's the spirit of the thing, and don's never really believed in a paycheck for her ideals anyway. a wonderful trait to have anywhere but a hyper-capitalistic city like her own back home. ]
But if thee feel bad for taking without anything in return, then why not make one of thy own? It is a simple task, my lady.
( She truly does mean that. It takes someone with a kind heart to do so much for even those they don't know. )
While I would be happy to offer something to others here... I am afraid what I have to offer is knowledge. I have never tried my hands at poetry, or crafting something for others.
No? Then now is the perfect time to try, is it not? Knowledge is good and well, but it is experience that allows thee to put that knowledge to use! Come, come, sit, I shall teach thee how to make a simple bracelet.
[ ... sit, she says, but it's more of a standing situation isn't it? don means well, she's collecting multicolored thread for their bracelets. ]
( It really is more of a standing situation, so Zelda will accept the invitation by doing just that. She makes her way to Don then, standing next to her and taking a look at the materials she has for others to use. )
I have always been rather fond of blue. But, would it not be more fitting to ask for a favorite color of a friend of mine?
Nay, for it should serve as a reminder of thyself to them! For example, I have gifted a friend my favorite scent, which is oranges -- that way, they shall smell it and think of me.
[ as well everyone around them, hopefully... selfishly. ]
By gifting them thus, they shall always look at the color and love it just as well.
