[ There aren't many places where items might be stashed in this room, but Nikolai makes a good go of searching. After the sounds of that last room, the nature sounds are quite nice. A bit strange to hear indoors, but with the green tint to the light it almost feels like he's outside, in a forest.
He catches a glimpse of Brook out of the corner of his eye and does a small, silent double-take. The difference in him was even more striking when not looking at him directly. Nikolai could have sworn he saw fangs, claws... but when he turns to look fully, the effect is lessened. ]

[ Nikolai asks the question idly, mostly to distract himself from being unnerved by Brook's changed appearance. This room might not be as obviously malicious, but it is playing tricks of its own, and Nikolai's patience for all this is running thin.
Under that green light, Nikolai himself may look somewhat different, too. The tips of his black-stained fingers are sharper, longer - almost like talons. His teeth look too thin, too long for his mouth. Strangest is his pupils, blown so wide that only the tiniest ring of hazel is visible around them. ]
I'm not seeing any cloaks in here. Or anything else useful.
