Eddie has never met a ball pit he hasn't enjoyed. What's not to like about jumping into a sea of plastic? And, okay, so Eddie is nineteen and definitely not a kid anymore, but it's not like he had the happiest of childhoods or a ton of access to ball pits.
So naturally, when he arrived at the art gallery and saw that there was one, he jumped right in (after removing his shoes, of course) with no hesitation.
And also, with no regard for anyone else enjoying themselves.
"Oh, hey," he says, greeting the newcomer when he finally spots her. "Sorry, I, uh. Should probably have made sure there was nobody else in the pit before diving in." Damn him and his "act now, think later" mentality. At least it doesn't seem like he hurt her. Surely, those bruises were already there...
