[So it seems it's his turn to deal with someone arriving new to the city they're stuck in. Onni isn't sure how he feels about that, because it means he's been here long enough to be someone experienced now instead of a new person himself. He wonders for a moment if the people who'd helped him when he first arrived had had as many questions still in their minds as he does now that he's got someone new looking at him with that confused expression, the fear in his widened eyes, the way his smile looks like it's about to crack.]

[With a sigh, he decides upon empathy, despite feeling like there are probably people here much better suited to walking a new person through this place. He resigns himself to answering questions as best he can with the near-complete lack of information they've been given about this place so far.

But the man's first question isn't about the city. It's about Onni himself, and where he comes from, and that throws Onni off a little. He glances back up to the statue, and then back to the golden-haired man.]

[The first question that comes to Onni's own mind is to ask why that statue bothers the other man so much, but that seems too intrusive. So he just shrugs.]
