[ the sound of the door falling shut is met with a pleased hum from the sleepier of the two (and, truthfully, fig only holds that title because he's always sleepy, on principle, though day-two-kaveh is certainly a very close runner-up). he settles into the small ball he'd contorted himself into just to fit his entire body into that chair. it shouldn't be as comfortable as he makes it look. and yet. ]

[ but that "better" was an awful long time ago, and not even technically true in the most literal sense, so it really isn't the fault of the chair or kaveh himself that fig's current opinion on it is, at least out loud, eh. what he isn't quite saying is he's been curled up in said chair for the better part of three hours, his mind still so molasses-thick with sleep that he wouldn't even blink an eye if kaveh were to tell him it's been three years instead.
