[ open ] kaveh's permanent catch-all
WHO: kaveh (
fussiest) & y'all!
WHAT: this is a perpetual catch-all for kaveh because i'm too lazy to make a new one every month. this is for closed starters, tag-ins, visits to kaveh's workshop and the like! be wild! be bold! be free!
WHERE: all around the city, and especially at kaveh's workshop, the pairidaeza architectural design studio in district 1
WHEN: everywhere! everywhen! all at once!
WARNINGS: bickering, probably - everything else will be warned for on a thread-by-thread basis

I know. I know it won't be good enough, but that last nozzle couldn't quite heat up what we had to the temperature we needed to get a good enough adjustment for the diameter. We'll have to do all of this all over again, but we're getting closer - I think we can make it this time with this additional reduction. It'll be the third nozzle we fit in here, but the end result will be worth it.
[ cotton, though, to seal the gaps. a box of wood. kaveh builds faithfully according to the style of the rainforest. sumeru city is built on lumber. but kaveh has always been far more at home with stone. the final rivet in place, he slides out from the forge proper so he can wipe soot and brick dust from his forehead where it's smeared. rolling out, he peers at the box yuu has in his grasp, and grins when a blast of air comes for him. ]
Ah, that feels lovely. [ he hums, then ambles to get a closer look. ] Does it being compact affect its output? Of course it does - I mean in any meaningful way. I still rather like the idea of having a series of fans to better control the nuance of the airflow. May I give it a try?

[ He can't help but feel a little impatient, now that they were getting so close to a working forge. But Kaveh is right. This should be the last time they have to remake the nozzle. Their goal was almost in their grasp, and he feels a little antsy.
He relinquishes the box to Kaveh, stepping aside to allow the architect to play with the box bellows. ]
It won't be as powerful as the kind of bellows used in Fontaine and Mondstadt, but power isn't what we need anyway. It's consistency. And the more fans you introduce, the more variation there will be in the airflow. Every extra part is just another potential point of failure. Simple is better in this case.
