Has to be an object. That's the rules.

[ Who came up with them? Excellent question. Its the kind of thing Kai has learned not to look at too closely or else will give him a headache. Human do love applying rules to things and unfortunately they tend to stick.

But Tsurumaru is distracting whether or not he he means to be, and Kai peers up at him even as he leans into the fingers. ]

[ Well that's...not untrue, Kai supposes. Not anything he expected to hear from Tsurumaru, though, despite his occasional lapses into something melancholy. ]

It also means you can also make the things you want happen, doesn't it?

[ And that might be an idea Kai has been clinging to, that he can eventually take hold of his own definitions. Slow going, maybe, but at least the intention is there. He has to have some sort of a goal, right? Otherwise what's the point? ]
