“No, he isn’t completely out of the norm.” But it’s enough that Duo is on his toes. After all, he’s hung out with Heero when he was far harder to read and more taciturn than he is now.

He can manage himself, or course he can, but Duo isn’t all that trusting that Heero would tell them if something was wrong. Of all people, he trusts Heero the most with keeping them alive and put together, in his own way.

But keeping himself in one piece? Zero trust.

“With keeping himself in one piece? Hell no I don’t fuckin’ trust him.” Well he’s honest, if nothing else. Another bite of his burger as Duo mulls things over in his mind.
