If he noticed the other man's discomfort, Loki didn't show it. It wasn't uncommon that he made other uncomfortable and mostly he just let it roll of his back. Loki had given up trying to act differently to have others accept him a long time ago so though he had not intended that outcome, he wasn't about to change either.

"Nor I. It might be even stranger than how we suddenly find ourselves here." It certainly was to Loki, who's use of magic was as natural a breathing. The idea that they could be brought here as they had been didn't seem strange to him, he merely wondered why, for what purpose, not how. The idea that there were now only a handful of people in a city that appeared to have enough space for millions was a much more intriguing question.

Loki nodded, looking up to the sky as he mentioned birds. "I sense no animal life at all. There's no rustling of city rodents, no birds, nothing except for plant life and it would seem people like us. It's... eerie." Loki didn't usually get spooked, but this was very odd.

Though the idea that there was a hall of records that had no records concerned Loki, his only reaction was a small frown. "It would seem then, that someone or something does not want us to know what happened. I would say that is a very strong indication that something happened and I would guess it was something we would not like."
