[It's pretty clear that Loki isn't blending in as a human. Not that he is particularly trying to. Still, he is unused to people not recognizing him at all. Even if it has been a number of years since New York, humans did tend to remember such things as alien invasions lead by mages, but really, Loki is a little relieved to be anonymous for a least a little while.
