Hob nods, still trying to appear entirely casual about being half dressed. "Yes, it is," a public space, but it didn't feel so public until Loki walked in. Either way, he still needs to wash his shirt and probably find some additional clothes, at some point. Hob kind of hopes he won't be here long enough to need a wardrobe, though.
As for the invention of the washing machine itself, Hob smiles. "Much easier. And faster." As if Hob knows how long that would take because, well, he does. Over the centuries, he has marveled at the little conveniences that have been invented to make everyday living easier.
