< What? Really?! >

( that revelation causes dante to look at the stove that had been cooking roland's yearned-for pajeon for him when he'd thought to stroll into the restaurant and check the kitchen with shock and suspicion, as if it were possessed by some sort of magnanimous culinary spirit.

it's certainly high on dante's shortlist of strange things they've noticed since exploring this place, though at least it's a convenient mysterious happening and not something dangerous or malicious?

roland seems to verge on a topic that makes dante nervous; they shift their weight from one foot to another, hands worrying at tiny imperfections in the glove the opposite wears. the fact that they are afflicted with amnesia, especially since it seems like they were some sort of bigwig in the City prior to coming down with it, is something that they don't think has spread too far outside of Limbus Company itself. they aren't really sure if it's supposed to be a secret...? though it probably doesn't matter anymore. )

< It's certainly inconvenient... I'm sorry - I can't really say whether or not it was something I chose intentionally or not in the moment... >

( they don't remember much about the events leading up to what happened in the forests of District 4. they are only under the impression that exchanging their head is something they had chosen to do while being pursued by wolf, lion, and panther.

they tilt their head to one side at the offer, considering it for a moment before nodding. )

< If you don't mind that you'll be the only one eating, sure, I would love to. >
