( true enough, dante had entered the fortune teller's shop after gebura had asked her question to its inanimate inhabitant. though they might have spent a little more time looking around at the vast myriad of all sorts of different occult-adjacent stuff that littered every flat surface in the room, their attention is invariably drawn towards the fortune teller itself as it rattles and clanks its way through its clockwork augury. it might just be a bust, the features long since worn away to indistinct nothingness, but there's something about it dante feels an odd kinship to... it's probably concerning that they are sort of identifying with the creepy fortune teller machine, right?
they have drawn closer as the tall, red-haired woman reads her fortune aloud, and they can't help but laugh at it (something which audibly sounds like a bell-like chime, though anyone hearing could get the sense of what it is meant to be). what terrible advice... can you even call something like that a fortune?
