[ that doesn't surprise Reno, really. he and Midnight don't know each other well, yet, but the little bits that Reno has gathered about Midnight's personality all point to someone encompassingly kind, who cares deeply and without hesitation about the people close to him. it makes sense, therefore, that he would attract similar spirits in kind, and that they in turn would attract more, and onward and outward until you've got a real party crowd on your hands.
