[ Daniel nods a little in regard to the question about the writing. Calling it comfortable is perhaps a bit of a stretch, but then again, so is pretty much calling anything comfortable for him right now. It's not killing him, so he'll take a faintly aching hand while writing.

It's better than being completely mute, especially for a guy who tends to be as chatty as Daniel.

Then again, Midnight doesn't seem to be kidding when he's saying that he can talk enough for them both, already speaking enough for both their share. Daniel looks a touch surprised to see the beer when he sits down, but recognizes the gesture enough to reach out and take a hold of the beer.

.. not to drink just yet, apparently, but to instead study the label. Some people would be happy to get anything in this situation, but apparently someone's standards are too high to just sit here and end up drinking a Coors or something..

Seems like this one passes the test though. Daniel nods again at Midnight, something actually kind of grateful in the lines around his eyes, and opens the beer to take a sip.

A moment later he writes another sentence for the other. ]
