Calw was full of people chasing the "upcoming trend" of exchanging your "old-fashioned fleshy body" for the "new cybernetic tech" ones. That's the kind of town I grew up in--I hated it. ( isolating, to think differently than them. ) So I found people who understood me and got out of dodge! Isn't that a happy ending?
