Incredibly distracted though he may be by both the new sights, sounds, locale, and everything else, Themis nevertheless finds his attention not quite as fixated as it can be. It remains divided, a large portion focused purely on his dearest companion.

He realizes, belatedly, that he has indeed initiated in holding Erich's hand. That flush returns immediately and though he tries quite hard to not outwardly show it, the Emissary is reeling. How bold of him, to take Erich's hand like this - and for Erich to allow him such a thing! Though, with the circumstances, he considers the possibility that Erich is merely showing his trust in Themis. Allowing him to lead Erich around, confident in his abilities no matter how dampened. Staying close to his friend is the intelligent thing to do, after all.

Yes, that has to be it.

He cannot deny the thrill he feels about it, though, attempting now to suppress the blush. So, too, does he not release the other's hand. If Erich is showing him trust, he will not let that be squandered.

Ah, yes, his question. He pulls out his own device as well, showing Erich. "Our opinions are much the same on these, it seems. Though if they are to be a boon for us, particularly in matters of connection and conversation, perhaps it is prudent to see them as a gift, of sorts."

"Whoever or whatever forces have made this place, I assume they may track us by these devices. But if they have the power to create such a place or to bring us here, they surely have the means of doing such a thing without these devices. Suspicious I will remain, but I will use it as I see fit - a useful tool."

A smiles up at Erich, licking his lips before asking, "Will you exchange information with me? I would set you first among my contacts."
