Loki | MCU

All These Ghosts

Despite the growing urge Loki has been getting all night, along with the strange things he’s been seeing all night, Loki thinks he’s been successful in avoiding the City’s party. He’s tipsy, more than a little tipsy in fact, which is probably at least partially the reason why he’s feeling so confident despite the weirdness. All in all, he was feeling good as he made his way towards the door to the courtyard to get a bit of fresh air. He takes a moment to straighten the crown on his viking costume before stepping through the door.

It takes a moment for him to realize that where he ends up is not, in fact the courtyard, but instead what appears to be the haunted house he saw advertised for by the City. He curses under his breath and turns, hoping to find that he can simply walk back through the door, but isn’t surprised to see that there is no way back.

With a sigh, he supposes he should have known better and starts making his way through the house, rolling his eyes and scoffing at what was supposed to be seen as scary.

They Go To Ground

Though he thinks the decorations of the first floor are laughable, the one thing Loki does see some potential in is the scare actors. He can feel an odd sort of tug as if something there was telling him he had to do it, but really it is hardly something that he needs convincing of. Besides, the people he’d seen so far weren’t doing a great job of it in his opinion.

Loki quickly finds himself hiding behind corners just so he can jump out at others making their way through. The bigger the scare, the harder he laughs. Finally something he finds truly enjoyable around this place!

Not Unscathed

Loki isn’t sure how long he spends scaring people on the first floor, but after a while he’s looking for something new. With a grin on his face, he makes his way up to the second floor.

The moment he steps into the hallway, he knows something is wrong, but quickly he doesn’t care. A familiar feeling overcomes him, a feeling he had been familiar with when he had been under the influence of the mind stone. All of a sudden, he is no longer simply Loki, God of Mischief. He is Loki, King of Asgard and Jotunheim and he needs to make these partygoers pay for infiltrating his territory!

The cold and dark of the hallway fuel him as he walks down the hallway with confidence. His natural Jotun qualities make it a perfect setting for him. He grins darkly as he stalks towards another patron.

Set it on Fire

By the time Loki makes it to the party proper, he’s in desperate need of a drink. Actually, he really wants to just leave, but he’s actually a little afraid of making the attempt. For all he knows, he’ll end up back in the haunted house. As much fun as it had been in the beginning, Loki doesn’t want to go anywhere near it again. Not if he’s going to lose himself like that again.

He makes his way over the bar and gets himself a rather large glass of scotch, straight up. It’s gone in a few gulps, the burn helping to make him feel better. Quickly, he pours himself another, though he drinks this one much more slowly.
