( she's a little worse for wear herself at this point, and catching the familiar undertone of tobacco from whatever corner she's tucked herself into is more passive instinct than anything else. it brings about a funny enough memory, a fond one of home and friends left behind, and there's a quiet yearning in her heart when she chases its source with a keen nose. after everything, she could use the company.

it's not as though she looks much better anyway. her white gown bloodied with sources fake, hers and others; lace and taffeta torn in places indicative of struggle fiercer than what she seems capable of. for better maneuverability, to get away, to stalk around corners to nip at someone's heel better - )
