Nill, meanwhile, can't help but look at the creature. She can't make out anything specific about it, other than its huge size and heavy footsteps, but that's enough to freeze her down to her bones. Her eyes are wide, and she has stopped breathing, unable to draw a breath as long as its near.

She always knew her death would be sudden, and violent, but she never expected it to be like this.

But miraculously, it leaves. It doesn't notice them. When she finally starts breathing again, she can't believe she's alive to do it. Whatever that thing was, she's certain it could have torn them apart without a second thought.

Adrenaline starts coursing through her body in response to the brush with death, and she feels heady from it. Her body is shaking, but the trembling is so acute that she doesn't even register that it's happening. Is she alright? Physically, yes. Mentally, she's been worse. So overall, yeah, she's alright. She gives the smallest nod to let him know.
