[Kai's read is spot-on. Brook can and does redirect immediately, even if it means kicking off the wall to maintain their velocity. A couple new ghosts try to snatch at them as they race by, but at this speed, they catch only air. Brook spares half a second to be grateful he isn't wearing his usual headband with its long, trailing, grabbable ends.
