[Loki appreciates that, but something that Dream told him in their conversation earlier in the night is plaguing his mind. Of course, during the conversation, it had been more about learning from your nightmares, but it occurs to Loki that opening up and telling people he trusts about things that are bothering him is a bit of a reoccurring theme in his nightmares. After all, opening up and letting out his frustrations at the time might have help move him away from the more tragic of his decisions over the years. Perhaps if he speaks of what happened, he’ll avoid more issues in the future.

You know, usually I’m a fan of parties. I was originally at the alternate party. I had thought I wouldn’t come to this one at all, but the City had other plans, it seems. As much as I did not like how this one started, and maybe would like to steer clear of any major gathering for awhile, I know I would enjoy further celebrations. Especially if you are there.
