[ That was faster than a lot of people would have taken to get here, admittedly, but not as fast as Yuji's regular speed. That's not too unexpected, given that just being present in the city seems to put a damper on one's cursed energy. The fact that Yuji's natural athleticism seems to have dampened also does tell him that whoever's bringing them here doesn't quite want them to resist.

Once he spots the other boy, he picks up some onigiri off the shelf and walks over to greet him. ]

Itadori.

[ The relief he feels at seeing Fushiguro again is overwhelming, and he steps forward as if to reach out for him before he pauses. That's kind of weird, isn't it? He's not sure if the last thing he remembers is real or some kind of dream, but he's still uncomfortable, forcing himself to breathe in and out before he nods his head. ]

Yeah. I'm here.

[ Should he get an onigiri too? He picks one up, just in case. ]

Are you okay? You're not hurt?

[ Over the months, Megumi's grown fairly accustomed to reading the emotions of his friend. Yuji seems shaken up for reasons he cannot understand. Would it be from coming here? Or did something else happen? ]

I've been just fine. [ His gaze fixes on his friend now. ]

What's going on with you?

[eyescar]

Huh? Nothing, I'm fine.

[ He presses the onigiri in his hand, squishing it a little. Realising what he's doing, he frowns and crosses his arms to try and focus himself. ]

What do you remember?

[ He did sense that something was wrong. He could have made a mistake? Or Yuji is masking how he's feeling as always. There's just this dead stare for a second, as if silently pressuring his friend to fess up, before he lets it go. ]

... Your silly bathrobe. [ That's the last thing he remembers from home. ] And then I found myself here, and I've been here for about a month.

[eyescar]

Oh...

[ That wasn't that long ago, but it's enough ago that Yuji has to bite his tongue. He tilts his head, trying not to look as awkward as he feels, shifting from one foot to the other. ]

I remember after that.

And ...?

[ Something's obviously bothering the other boy. Megumi fixes his gaze on him again, expecting to be filled in. ]

[eyescar]

We're still doing our best to free Gojo-sensei.

[ That's not exactly a lie, so it's fine, right? ]

[seaurchin]

[ Yeah, he's definitely being kept in the dark. There's another dead stare, before he sighs. ]

... Make sure you tell me about it when you're ready to.

[eyescar]

[ Yuji wilts immediately, bowing his head and breathing out, arms dropping to his side. ]

Fushiguro...

[ He's almost pouting, but it's... Sadder than that. ]

I just need to figure it out, then I'll let you know.

Okay.

[ He trusts his friend to do what's best for both of them. On to lighter matters ... ]

Speaking of Gojo-sensei, he's actually here as well.

[ Yuji's looking up again immediately, eyes wide. ]

Where? I wanna see him!

[seaurchin]

I live with him. But he might not be home right now.

[ He'll quickly send Gojo's details to him. ]

You should move in too.

[eyescar]

Can you call him or something? Fushiguro, I really -

[ He shakes his head, ignoring the moving in stuff. That's obvious. ]

Is he okay?

[seaurchin]

He's here, [ Which is better than the alternative. ] and he's not hurt. Just yesterday, he came home with too many sweets.

[ Picking up his phone, he starts to look for Gojo's contact. ]

I think there might be something bothering him, though. [ But as always, nobody tells him anything. ]

[eyescar]

That sounds just like him.

[ Yuji is immediately leaning over him, seeing if he can peer at the text conversation and catch Gojo's username. ]

I'll ask him if you want.

( --and there's his phone, lighting up with megumi's contact information, calling him. he picks up on the second ring. )

Wow, missed me already~? Cute, but I'll be home for dinner, Megumi. What's going on?

[ He both loves and hates this voice. ]

Will you be quiet ... [ But Meg, you literally called him. He puts the phone on loudspeaker and gives it to Yuji like it's Yuji's problem now. ]

Itadori wanted to speak to you.

Woah! It really is you!

[ He leans into the phone, as if it being on loudspeaker isn't enough to have him be heard. ]

Sensei, it's Itadori Yuji here!

( there's an echo of surprise: but then he hears it, his lips cracking into a relieved grin. )

Yuji, you're here now! What took you so long? I've been waiting this whole time, you know.

( teasing. )

I missed you~. Did you miss me too?

Of course I missed you!

[ The utter relief that he feels is obvious in his voice, and he's practically giddy. ]

Can I come over and see you?

[oversize]

You don't have to ask permission! ( he sounds amused. )

Megumi, you're okay if Yuji stays with us, right? You guys might have to share a room until we find a bigger place, or I can move out and let you guys take it over...

Or you two can just take turns cuddling with me, whatever works.

( megumi is going to hate that option, he knows. )

You both can do that by yourselves.

[ As expected, he cuts in quickly with that rebuttal. ]

It's up to Itadori who he wants to sleep with. [ He probably should have said 'room' rather than 'sleep', though. ]

If it's okay, I guess I'll share with Fushiguro?

[ He glances over - does he mind? He didn't really like being neighbours, but Yuji does want to keep an eye on him... ]

And I wanna stay with you too, sensei.

So you want all three of us together in the same place? That's fine with me.
