Indeed, I actually think if someone were to start trouble with us over it, more people would be on our side, so to speak.

( Which Louis thinks is painfully naive, albeit well-intentioned. He doesn't deserve that acceptance, but he hasn't pressed the issue of his guilt with anyone who has been generous enough to take the reveal with a smile and a nod. )

Human beings can be so kind sometimes. It's like Lestat's music, in a way, isn't it? It was only other vampires who tried to hurt him for revealing what he was. Most of the mortals didn't believe it, but some of them did... I'm certain that some of them knew.

( He's just musing. He doesn't quite know what his point is, but it's an observation he finds compelling. )
