Oh, I'm sure that I am. But only in the same way that humans are cursed to eventually die and the world cursed to lose their spark forever.

He very much understands that part of the human condition is to die, that putting all talent and effort into one set of years before their completion is how it is supposed to be... and yet the threat of death has taken so many greats from him that he can't quite see the same romanticism in it as someone as romantic as he is should. ]

Though, I've found some ways over the years to make it sufficiently less painful.
