You can't speak of people in such a harsh manner... I've yet to find a sentient species that wasn't limited by basic instincts and the limitations that come with them... Humans spend their entire lives being a little bit afraid, a little bit lonely, and a little bit sad at all times... It's a bit much to ask them to imagine a life without that, don't you think? Even I have my concerns.
