Not at all. If we all leave our footsteps on this earth, then certainly we all deserve to have our memory preserved... This of course only applies to my world, but there's a weather theory that states thus: A butterfly, smaller than the palm of your hand and never once acknowledged by the world, flapping its wings can lead to the formation of a tornado weeks later.

[ Media has expanded upon that idea, but there's no need to get into that when the idea is all the same. It's no different than throwing a pebble into a lake and watching the ripples that follow.

But it's even simpler than that, more boring, more droll. ]

But let's say for a moment that none of that is true, because even if it is, it doesn't really matter. Life has an inherent worth, don't you think? If not then we might as well toss it away... But it does, and so it should be preserved for as long as it can be.

[ There's a soft laugh. ]

It sounds so deep and philosophical, but... It's really quite simple! Our lives have an inherent worth, and we can't ever forget that. We have to remember those who have come before us, and we have to think of those who will come after us... If we can do that, then we won't ever lose sight of ourselves, or so I believe.
