Especially when he knows the other is here to help. Then it doesn't even mind that he's a stranger - to him, anyway, and Daniel trusts Robby's ability to vet people on top of it. The moment Kaveh offers that hand, Daniel is indeed already instinctively reaching back to give it a firm handshake, a friendly yet polite smile on his face.
