Mhm. Non-sorcerers can't control the energy they release. They don't even know about it. Weak little curses can't do much more than, say, give you back pain you can't explain. The stronger ones can cause disease or outright kill humans.

But this is an endless cycle of kill and be killed. I've been researching a way to eliminate the energy that causes curses to exist at all. The fact that people in this city come from worlds without it is proof it can be done.
