I only call it mundane because I feared for my life — or rather, my safety — much less than others. I realize that makes me lucky.

[ Midnight laughs very gently. For a guy who is usually so fucking weird and goofy, he sure still tries to look after people's emotions as best as he can. ]

Oh, as long as my legs are working, I usually find a way home. I've had nights at the bar that end much worse.

[ Midnight grimaces. He drags his friends out drinking somewhat for the company, mostly because he knows that he'll end up face down in a ditch somewhere if someone doesn't physically drag him home. ]

I'm more worried about getting things off my top shelves, to be honest, these ribs are not having it.

[ Midnight laughs again. Okay, maybe he's laughing really quietly because he knows he'll just set off his ribs again if he does his usual villain laughs. It can be both! ]

Think I'll rest up here and head back. Probably should try to rest. You should enjoy the rest of the fair, though.
