( Louis' trepidation melts away at the sight of Armand's smile, so rare and sweet and almost innocent that Louis can imagine — perhaps for the first time — what Armand might have looked like as a young mortal man. Armand had always seemed so much older than Louis; even his strange, shocking moments of naïveté were more alien than childish. But this...
