If he didn’t know any better, Loki would think that Hob was looking at more than just the magic he was producing and the thought alone causes a soft blush to rise in his cheeks. He really doesn’t know why he’s so taken with this man, but from the moment he met him, he’s simply enjoyed his company. Sometimes these things simply can’t be explained, he supposes.

The smile returns to Loki’s face and he sits back again to resume drinking his tea and eating the delightful treats Hob brought with him. “I am so glad you liked it. And I do not need anything in return, except your continued company of course.” His smile turns a bit shy which he tries to cover up as a smirk. But it’s true. Having a friend, someone who he can simply enjoy some tea and a nice chat with is something Loki never quite thought he would have. It does not hurt that he enjoys looking at and listening to the other man either.

“So, how have you been keeping since I last saw you?” If there was one thing that Loki has heard about keeping friends, it’s trying not to make everything all about himself.
