[ Daniel watches Armand's face closely, watching the way he looks at him as if willing him to say something else, something specific, something it's burning in Armand to hear. He can see him swaying, and Daniel realises with an uncomfortable tightening in his stomach that seeing him like that is more unsettling than anything else; Armand has always been so strong, so resolute, so independent even when he demanded Daniel stay at his side. And now he needs someone to support him, through this and through being in this place, like he had needed Daniel to be his companion in the changing times.
