That little comment makes Daniel's attention snap back to study Sasuke's face closely. Onto something, was she. What exactly did Sasuke's freaky eyes see in him to make him say something like that? Honestly, he'd always though the whole thing was just spiritual juju and that her calling his aura rancid was just a good way for her to insult him without getting chewed out for it. It wasn't like he didn't deserve it, though.

"Why the need to make this place look lived in, do you think? If I was going to try and bring people someplace and have them stay and live there, I'd at least make the books real. There's no need for jobs here, we can't have cars to travel, we don't need money.. but we also can't read anything, even stuff that's completely unrelated to where we are. I'd take a romance novel at this point, you know?"
