Daniel squints like he's smelling something foul, a clear sign that whatever chi and chakra might be, he's having a hard time applying them to the conversation they're having.

"Chakra is like.. energy, right? I had a girlfriend once who was into that kind of shit," He says dismissively, not sure why he's telling someone he's only just met and who he is very clearly more than a decade older than, but rolling with it anyway. "She said mine sucked. Bad aura or something."

It's not an invite by any means, but Daniel suddenly does feel a little uncomfortable looking Sasuke dead in the eye, even if that had been all he'd wanted earlier. He forces himself instead to look away at the doors he came through to get here.
