[ it's probably a little strange if he watches her test out the strawberry, so he drops his gaze to the ice cream case and tries to deduce the rest of the flavors. there are the normal ones he knows for sure: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. then the rainbow one, something that sort of looks like caramel, and one that might be rocky road. there's also one that's an unusual pink, which he decides to stay away from, and eventually makes up his mind to sample the rainbow one for fun.

definitely not ice cream but something close, he figures once it's in his mouth. sherbet probably. sorbet?
