Even the city won't tell us where we are. Look around--there's nothing in the shops or maps with a name. None of us know; we all come from completely different places.

[ Which is odd in a sense, but downplays just how bizarre of a point that is in reality; doesn't include the different in times, or all the other impossible parts of their situation.

But there's something he wonders--assumes, maybe, by what the other guy says, eyes flickering at the phone before back at him. ] The train wasn't gonna open up 'til you answered it. And you're gonna notice you can understand a lot more languages than you did before you got here.

[ Because there really is no avoiding the odd parts of being here, but different languages, train doors that won't open until you answer a survey: maybe Robby wants to present things about this place that can't be easily denied, or let the suspicious points be passed. If this guy didn't, you know, avoid doing a stupid dumb survey like some people do (hi, Robby is some people).
