It is not a literal road. But there appears to be lumps within the base mixture. I have not yet identified if they are edible, but it would be a reasonable assumption.
...Would you prefer to taste test it? I have tasted other blends, and they have not contained poison.
[Mind you, he's not built to detect things like 'magic' in food, at least not in this fashion. If it's not directly harmful, his fake, weird tongue isn't going to pick up on it!
